My grandfather cut hair in a two-chair shop off Main Street in Charlotte for 51 years. My father followed him. I’m the third Ironside behind the chair — we opened this place in Cornelius in 2014 with one barber, a barrel of bourbon, and the same clippers Pop used in 1962.
